If you are not using Cisco Fog Director, the Local Console on IOx must be used to install IOx applications and manage the Application Life Cycle. To access the console IOS must be configured to forward port 8443 to IOx from the IR809 external interface, usually GigabitEthernet 0. For instance, if the IR809 GE0 is at IP 192.168.11.4, then the Local Console is accessible via a browser at this URL:
The login and password is set in IOS. The simplest, but no really secure, method of setting the login and password is to use this command in IOS:
username cisco privilege 15 password 0 cisco
You can now login to the Local Console using the login: cisco, password: cisco.
